How to recover used stamps?
Some tips to recover postal stamps used.
Typically used stamps are still attached to paper bag or a piece of it. To retrieve them you must cut the stamp leaving a sufficient margin around to avoid damaging the teeth.
All the stamps used should be washed with warm water in which a little 'salt melted, so as not to alter the colors.
Do not attempt to remove the stamps, quickly come off by themselves.
Once done this, the used stamps are let dry on paper towels preferably white, with design facing face down, away from heat or light sources.
When it will be dried, place the stamps used under a heavy, flat object, to flatten them and iron them.
